Dear Athletes of VnExpress Marathon Hai Phong 2024,

We are excited to welcome you to the second edition of VnExpress Marathon Hai Phong,
which will take place on Sunday, December 15th, 2024, with 10,000 participants.

As the eighth stop of the VnExpress Marathon series in 2024, this race will offer you the
opportunity to explore the historic and vibrant beauty of Hai Phong. Participants will pass
iconic landmarks such as the City’s Grand Theatre, the Statue of General Le Chan, Lac Long
Bridge, and the Hai Phong Museum. Athletes will also race along the straight and spacious
Le Hong Phong Road, an ideal stretch for pushing your pace and achieving personal bests.

The Vietnam Athletics Federation (VAF) will partner with VnExpress Marathon to oversee the
technical and professional aspects of the event. The entire racecourse has been measured
and certified by the VAF. All race categories will begin at Tran Hung Dao Street, located near
the central park of Hai Phong. For those participating in the 42 km marathon, the finish line
will be at 15/5 Square, Do Son District, Hai Phong City. Shuttle buses will be available to
transport athletes back to the start area. The remaining three race distances will finish at
Tran Hung Dao Street, near To Huu Garden.

This race guide contains all the essential information for race day. We encourage you to
read it thoroughly to ensure a smooth and successful experience on the race day.
