Welcome to the VnExpress Marathon Ha Long 2024, where sports enthusiasts once again
come together to immerse themselves in the vibrant atmosphere of this coastal city. The 3rd
edition of the VM in Quang Ninh will take place on Sunday, September 22th, at the heart of
Ha Long City.

As the land that boasts a World Natural Heritage recognized three times by UNESCO,
Quang Ninh is not only famous for its renowned Ha Long Bay but is also regarded as a
friendly and hospitable destination with a diverse range of tourism products. The VnExpress
Marathon Ha Long 2024 attracted 9,000 athletes, positioning itself as an impressive and
distinctive sports economy product that highlights the province's sports and tourism. Here,
athletes will experience and conquer a beautiful international-standard race course, witness
a stunning sunrise by the bay, breathe in the fresh air, and feel every heartbeat fueled by a
passion for running.

The VnExpress Marathon Ha Long 2024 is an event celebrating ASEAN Sports Day 2024, as
part of the ASEAN Sports Action Plan for 2021 - 2025, under the direction of the Vietnam
General Department of Sports. In 2024 - 2025, Vietnam will take on the role of ASEAN chair
in sports within the Socio-Cultural Community. The race underscores Vietnam's active,
positive, and responsible participation in ASEAN, fostering connectivity, cooperation, and
building a sustainable ASEAN Community.
