4. If an athlete is seen wearing more than two Bibs while competing, the results will be thrown out,
and they will be disqualified.
5. Athletes who lose their chip-time signal on the track will be disqualified.
6. All complaints about the results of the first, second, and third prizes must be made within 2 hours
of the points awarded by the Organizing Committee. Other grievances regarding the outcomes must
be sent to the organizing committee within seven days. The decision to review the results is up to the
organizing committee.
7. The results page will indicate "Did not finish" (DNF) for each runner who fails to finish the race within
the allotted time (this interval will be determined based on the starting time). DNF participants will
not get a medal because they did not finish the race.
8. Medals from the Organizing Committee are symbolic of the efforts and achievements of the
athletes and are not intended for sale.
9. Runners have the right to complain and request to verify their or other athlete's results, along with
clear evidence. The decision of the organizers is the final decision.
VIII. Awards
1. The Organizer reserves the right to change the athletes' achievements/awards list after completing
all complaint review procedures.
2. The Organizing Committee has the right to withdraw the completed items and bonuses of the
athletes if detecting violations or cheating during the competition.
3. All prizes for athletes will transfer ownership to the Organizer if not received within 30 days from
the date of the request for information confirmation.
4. Prizes must be received according to the regulations of the Organizing Committee. Prizes are not
transferable or exchangeable for cash.
5. The Award includes:
5.1 For Full Marathon distance:
Top 5 finalist for men and female apply for all athletes, regardless professional runners, movement
runners, Vietnamese or foreigners.
5.2 For Half Marathon - 10km - 5km Top 3 finalist for men and female apply for all athletes, regardless
professional runners, movement runners, Vietnamese or foreigners.
The organizers will transfer the results to the age category if the above requirements are not met.
6. Gender
The athlete's gender will be recorded by identification (Citizen ID, Passport) or other legal documents
issued by the authorities. If the gender of the athlete cannot be determined, the right to decide
belongs to the Organizing Committee.
IX. Behavior
1. Athletes must comply with the instructions of the Organizing Committee, local authorities, track
supervisors, referees, and race volunteers. Comply with the Road Traffic Safety Law at the specified
places.
2. Athletes who act aggressively, disrupt security and order, or violate law enforcement rules during
the tournament will be disqualified by the Organizing Committee. These athletes will have their
achievements, awards, and prizes canceled and be prohibited from participating in future VnExpress
Marathon competitions.
3. Each athlete is responsible for comprehending and abiding by the competition's regulations; those
who do not will be barred from competing.
4. Athletes should behave themselves appropriately both before and during the competition. No:
arguing, insulting, acting unsportsmanlike toward other participants, littering, causing environmental
damage, or utilizing derogatory imagery of the event's organizers and competitors after it has
concluded. Anyone who disobeys this code of behavior will be asked to leave the track, be eliminated
from the competition, and be prohibited from participating in future VnExpress Marathon
competitions.
