VNEXPRESS MARATHON CHARTER



        This tournament  charter  rule  is intended to support the management and organization of
        large-scale events, ensure the security of event participants, meet the requirements, and abide
        by the international standard of achievement recognition, the rights, and responsibilities of
        participants and the Organizing Committee.
        I/ Participant conditions
        1. Athletes (hereinafter referred to as “participants”) are only permitted to register for one (01)
        race distance and must meet  the minimum  age requirement  corresponding  to the chosen
        distance. Each participant may register for only one (01) bib under their name, and no changes
        to personal information (e.g., surname/given  name) shall be  accepted once  registration is
        completed. The participant's age will be calculated as of the official race day. Additionally,
        participants must have completed at least one officially licensed race recognized by an
        authorized governmental body.
        For the Full Marathon distance – 42 km: Participants must be at least 18 years old as of race
        day.
        Male participants: Must have completed a Full Marathon within 4 hours in the 12 months prior
        to the ticket sale opening date.
        Female participants: Must have completed a Full Marathon within 5 hours in the 12 months
        prior to the ticket sale opening date.
        For the Half Marathon distance – 21 km: Participants must be at least 16 years old as of race
        day.
        Male participants: Must have completed a Half Marathon within 2 hours in the 12 months prior
        to the ticket sale opening date.
        Female participants: Must have completed a Half Marathon within 2 hours and 30 minutes in
        the 12 months prior to the ticket sale opening date.
        Performance Certificate Requirements:
         · Participants must submit at least one valid certificate demonstrating they have achieved the
        required performance standard in an official race licensed by a competent authority.
         · It is not mandatory for the submitted performance certificate to match the distance for which
        the participant is registering.
         · Participants bear full responsibility for the authenticity and accuracy of the performance
        certificate provided. In cases where the Organizing Committee verifies or discovers any false or
        misleading information, it reserves the right to cancel the participant’s registration, eligibility to
        compete, official results, and any awards (if applicable).
        2. The Organizing Committee provides the registration card ("Bib") and information
        The Organizing Committee will decide the time to provide Bib numbers and other information
        depending on the organization of each tournament. Any time the organizers determine there
        may be risks to the event or the runners' safety, the organizing committee reserves the right to
        cancel Bib numbers for people who are unable to participate in the program.
        3. Before competing, all competitors must sign the Disclaimer of Liability using the form made
        available by the organizers.
        4. Athletes who compete in each distance's regulations while underage will be disqualified. A
        guardian will lose their right to compete if they intentionally sign up a participant not of the
        required age.
        5. Each athlete's unique BIB number cannot be changed, transferred, or given to others except
        with the permission of the organizing committee. The transfer/gift to Bib outside of the
        permitted time (if any) of the organizing committee will be strictly prohibited, and the
        competition results will not be accepted. We will be considering banning the relevant
        individuals from participating in the tournaments of the VnExpress Marathon in the future.
        6. The registration cost will not be returned to the athlete after registration is completed, and
        the ticket cannot be transferred to another individual for any reason. The runners are
        responsible  for keeping track of and updating the information the organizing  committee
        provides them via the race's official website and other social networking sites.
        7. Athletes can modify the race's distance as long as they follow the website guidelines of the
        tournament
