VNEXPRESS MARATHON CHARTER

This tournament charter rule is intended to support the management and organization of large-scale
events, ensure the security of event participants, meet the requirements, and abide by the interna-
tional standard of achievement recognition, the rights, and responsibilities of participants and the
      Organizing Committee.

      I/ Participant conditions
      1. Athletes can only choose one distance to compete and must be within the age requirements for
their registered distances. Ages are as of the start of the race day.
      - Full Marathon - 42 km from 18 years old and up.
      - Half Marathon - 21 km from 16 years old and up.
      - Distance 10 km - from full 12 years old and up.
      a. Runners under 16 must have a guardian responsible and sign the Disclaimer of Liability provided
by the Organizing Committee. The organizers have the right to refuse athletes who have not complet-
      ed this procedure.
      b. For safety reasons, runners under 6 must be accompanied by parents or guardians during the race.
      2. The Organizing Committee provides the registration card ("Bib") and information
The Organizing Committee will decide the time to provide Bib numbers and other information
depending on the organization of each tournament. Any time the organizers determine there may be
risks to the event or the runners' safety, the organizing committee reserves the right to cancel Bib
numbers for people who are unable to participate in the program.
      3. Before competing, all competitors must sign the Disclaimer of Liability using the form made
      available by the organizers.
      4. Athletes who compete in each distance's regulations while underage will be disqualified. A guard-
ian will lose their right to compete if they intentionally sign up a participant not of the required age.
      5. Each athlete's unique BIB number cannot be changed, transferred, or given to others except with
the permission of the organizing committee. The transfer/gift to Bib outside of the permitted time (if
any) of the organizing committee will be strictly prohibited, and the competition results will not be
accepted. We will be considering banning the relevant individuals from participating in the tourna-
ments of the VnExpress Marathon in the future.
      6. The registration cost will not be returned to the athlete after registration is completed, and the
ticket cannot be transferred to another individual for any reason. The runners are responsible for
keeping track of and updating the information the organizing committee provides them via the race's
official website and other social networking sites.
      7. Athletes can modify the race's distance as long as they follow the website guidelines of the tourna-
      ment
      8. The Organizing Committee has the right to change the announced parameters and deadlines
depending on the actual number of registered athletes to ensure the tournament's organization. The
Organizing Committee will inform the athletes through the official website and communication
channels of the race at any time.
      9. The Organizing Committee encourages athletes to fully declare their medical history and illness.
The organizing committee recommends that athletes with a history of cardiovascular disease, blood
pressure disease, vascular disease... and other diseases that can be dangerous when exercising at
high intensity or for long periods of time are not allowed to participate in the race.

      II. Race-kit
      1. All athletes must receive competition items, including Bib, timers, and other items to support the
race. Detailed information about the time and place to receive the race kit will be posted on the
race's official website (https://vm.vnexpress.net). If the athlete is unable to receive it directly, they can
authorize others to receive it according to the instructions on this website. The Organizer will not
deliver via courier or postal service.
      2. Runners must provide photo IDs and a confirmation email with QR codes (which can be in electron-
ic format, e.g., phone or print) when receiving BIBs and race kits.
